Five of the 32 2017 teams reached the fourth round. Three were eliminated in the third round. 2017 teams went 27-25 in the third round.

Two No. 1 seeds are still alive, one No. 2, one No. 3. one No. 4, one No. 5, one No. 6 and one No. 15. Two DH teams remain. The elite eight represent eight different franchises, seven of them from the orginial 16.
