Montreal 18, Philadelphia 3: Ron Hunt drove in six runs and Ron Woods, Clyde Mashore and Ken Singleton all homered in the rout. The Expos led 3-1 going into the bottom of sixth, but losing pitcher Ken Brett gave up four runs in that frame and the Philly bullpen, with George Culver wearing most of the damage, was a disaster in the seventh and eighth innings. Steve Renko went eight innings for the win.
