The 16 teams from 1924 won eight series and lost eight series. They were a combined 45-46.

The 18 teams from 1961 won 11 series and lost seven. They were a combined 47-43.

The 30 teams from 2017 won 13 series and lost 17. They were a combined 79-82.

Of the maximm 224 games that could have been played over the 32 series, 171 were played.

Each of the 16 franchises with three teams in the field advanced at least one to the second round, with the Brooklyn Robins/Los Angeles Dodgers advancing all three. Both two-team franchises were completely eliminated.
