Four teams from 2019 are still alive, two from 2009, and one each from 1969 and 1973. No franchise has more than one representative still playing.
Two DH teams are still alive; they play each other, so there will be one DH team in the final four.
One No. 1 seed, two second seeds, one fourth seed, one fifth, one sixth, one eighth and one 11th.
The final four teams will be reseeded. The order: Twins, Braves, Nationals, Cardinals, Rockies, Giants, Yankees, Blue Jays.
