Of the 28 potential games in the fourth round, 24 were played. One series went seven games, two went six, one went five.
Two versions of the San Francisco Giants advanced and will play in Round Five, so the Giants are guaranteed a representative in the championship series. Two 2009 teams survive, one 1969 team and, of course, one 1987 team. There are no DH teams left. Three of the four remaining teams are from the National League.
