Ben Taylor hit two of the Conifers' four triples, and Leroy Matlock held the Tourists to three runs in eight innings. The Conifers scored three in the first and another in the second to grab an early lead off Ray Brown. Buck Leonard's two-run homer in the ninth off Eggie Hensley made the final score close.

Walleyes 8, Herons 1
Leon Day threw a complete-game three-hitter as the Walleyes moved back ahead of the Herons in the standings. Dick Lundy hit a three-run homer, Home Run Johnson scored three times and Bill Monroe doubled and tripled.
