Oscar Charleston hit three home runs and drove in seven runs to power the Herons. He scored four times, and Cheney White and Willie Wells each scored three runs. Sam Streeter went the distance for the win, allowing nine hits.

Conifers 5, Tourists 2
Leroy Matlock and Rube Foster combined to allow no earned runs for the Conifers, and Dave Malarcher drove in three runs with a homer and a squeeze bunt. Newt Allen also bunted a man in from third for the winners. Matlock allowed at least two runners in each of the first three innings and then retired 10 straight hitters.
