The Loons battered three Tourists pitchers for 19 hits, none longer than a double. Alejandro Oms drove in five runs with two doubles, a single and a sac fly. Phil Cockrell shut out the Tourists until the ninth and finished with an eight-hitter.

Conifers 4, Walleyes 3
Newt Allen capped a two-run bottom of the ninth with a base hit to plate pinch-runner Spot Poles as the Conifers overtook the Walleyes. Satchel Paige struck out 11 in his complete game loss; he allowed eight hits. Smokey Joe Williams also went the distance, scattering 12 hits. T.J. Young drove in all three runs for the losers.
