Billy Hamilton evened the score with a two-run triple in the seventh inning, then dashed home with the go-ahead run on Jesse Burkett's short fly to pin another loss on the reeling Crimsons. Cristobel Torriented led off the top of the ninth with a homer to even the score at one, and added a single to help set up Pete Hill's sac fly to put Bertha ahead, Jose Mendez, a late selection to start, pitched 7.2 innings for the Fishermen, allowing a solo homer to Darrell Evans but otherwise limiting Long Prairie to three singles and three walks. John Donaldson worked 3.1 innings for the win.
