Orator O'Rourke's bat did the talking -- 3-for-3 with a walk and three runs scored -- as first-place Browerville added a half-game to its cushion. Jesse Burkett opened the scoring off losing pitcher Bob Gibson with his second homer of the season, and the Novelists blew it open with four runs in the ninth. Old Hoss Radbourn allowed six hits for his fifth win. . .
