Walleyes 4, Loons 3
Dave Brown and Roosevelt Davis combined for an eight-hitter, and Art Pennington and Dewey Creacy hit back-to-back doubles to start a game-tying rally in the fifth inning for the Walleyes. Loser Nip Winters allowed seven hits. The Walleyes got their final two runs on sacrifice flies by Pennington and Cool Papa Bell.

Tourists 9, Conifers 3
The Tourists hit three doubles in a nine-run second inning, with Wild Bill Wright driving in three runs with his. Ray Brown scattered 10 hits in eight innings for the win. Rube Foster threw six scoreless innings of relief to preserve the Conifers staff. Pete Hill went 4-for-5 for the winners.
