Big Bill Foster threw a six-hitter and Martin Dihigo drove in six runs as the last-place tourists routed the Loons. Double Duty Radcliffe had a two-triple for the winners. The Tourists turned three double plays as Foster picked up his first win of the season.

Walleyes 10, Conifers 1
Bill Monroe, Willard Brown and Art Pennington all homered in five-run top of the first and Cool Papa Bell hit three triples in the rout. Satchel Paige allowed just four hits and struck out nine. Eggie Hensley, who started for the Conifers, retired nobody.
