Newt Allen tripled home Ben Taylor for the walkoff winner off Roosevelt Davis, who was in his fourth inning of relief. Andy Cooper pitched 4.3 innings for the win. Bullet Joe Rogan hit a three-run homer in the sixth off Dave Brown. Mule Suttles, playing left field for the Conifers, threw out Art Pennington at the plate in the fourth inning in what proved a crucial play.
