Josh Gibson homered twice, drove in five runs and scored three to power the Conifers to their fifth straight win. Bullet Rogan went the distance, scattering 10 hits and striking out seven. Sam Streeter threw 7.6 innings of relief for the Herons, allowing two runs.

Walleyes 5, Tourists 1
Leon Day didn't allow a run until the ninth, and Bill Monroe and John Beckwith each homered and drove in a pair of runs. Day scattered nine hits and walked two, but only once did the Tourists have two men on base.
