Baltimore 9, Washington 4: Tubby Scales scored twice and drove in a pair, and Ben Taylor stroke a two-run home as the Elites overpowered the Senators. Roger Peckinpaugh had three hits and a pair of runs scored for Washington. 

NY Giants 8, NY Yankees 6:  Highpockets Kelly drove in four runs and scored three to power the Giants. Jack Bentley allowed four runs in eight innings, striking out seven, including Babe Ruth three times.
