Baltimore 16, NY Yankees 3: Ben Taylor's grand slam in the sixth inning was the third homer for the Elites and gave the first baseman six RBIs for the game. John Donaldson went the distance for Baltimore, scattering seven hits. Alejandro Oms and Dick Lundy each scored three runs for Baltimore. which knocked Waite Hoyt from the game in the third inning.

Brooklyn 5, NY Giants 0: Burleigh Grimes scattered 10 hits in the shutout, eliciting a pair of double plays in the final two innings. Jack Fournier, who homered in the fourth, and Zack Wheat each scored twice. The Robins scored three unearned runs off loser Virgil Barnes.
