Day 20 recaps
NY Giants 6, NY Yankees 3: Highpockets Kelly homered twice and drove in five runs for the Giants. Vigil Barnes allowed three runs in the first two innings but then shut out the Yankees on two singles for the next six. Rosy Ryan faced just three batters for the save in the ninth. .

Baltimore 2, Washington 1:  Biz Mackey broke a 1-1 tie with a solo homer in the seventh, and Bullet Rogan survived consecutive singles to open the ninth. Winning pitcher Andy Cooper allowed one run on six hits in seven innings, and Rogan picked up his second consecutive save.
