Baltimore 5, NY Giants 4 (11 innings): Cristobal Torriente's first hit of the season drove in Home Run Johnson for the walk-off win. Loser Claude Jonnard had thrown four scoreless innings of relief to that point. Judy Johnson had a pair of RBIs for the Elites.

Three pitchers combined for a seven-hit shutout. George Mogridge did most of the work, allowing five hits in six innings before leaving for a pinch-hitter.
