Washington 3, Brooklyn 1 (11 innings): Joe Judge's triple ignited a two-run rally with two outs in the 11th off reliever Tiny Osborne. Allan Russell got the win with two scoreless innings of relief. Fred Marberry took over for Walter Johnson with two on and none out in the ninth and escaped the jam to preserve a 1-1 tie.Jack Fournier homered and had two singles and a walk for the Robins.
Brooklyn 7. NY Giants 5: Eddie Brown hit a three-run homer and Jack Fournier doubled in a pair of runs to back Dazzy Vance's complete game. Vance allowed only five hits, but the Giants scored five runs in large part because he walked seven. Ross Youngs drove in four runs for the Giants on a pair of doubles.
