Dave Brown went the distance with a seven-hitter for the Walleyes, and Dick Lundy and Jelly Gardner each had two RBIs. The leaky Conifer defense did loser Smokey Joe Williams no favors; three of the Walleyes runs were unearned, and the limited range afield tainted some of the others.
