Ghost Marcelle drove in three runs and Max Manning went the distance as the Herons remained unbeaten. Manning scattered eight hits and walked four with three strikeouts. The Herons scored twice in the seventh to take the lead and three more in the eighth to salt it away. Bonnie Serrell had three hits, scored twice and drove in one. 

Conifers 4, Tourists 2
Newt Joseph singled in two runs in the sixth to put the Conifers ahead, and Smokey Joe Williams struck out nine men in eight innings as the Conifers earned their first win of the season. Loser Bill Foster allowed two earned runs on six hits in eight-plus innings.
