Day 13 recaps
Loons 9, Herons 2
The Loons plated four runs in the first inning and the Herons never came close to catching up. Jud Wilson had three hits and three RBIs, and Alejandro Oms scored three times.
Walleyes 4, Tourists 1
Bill Foster took a no-hitter into the fifth inning for the Tourists, but the Walleyes erupted for three runs in the sixth and knocked him out in the seventh. Slim Jones relieved winner Leon Day with one run in and the bases loaded in the bottom of the seventh and promptly got a double=play grounder to end the threat. He finished the game with 2.6 innings for the save.
