Washington 6, NY Giants 3: The Senators ripped Rosy Ryan for four runs in the top of the ninth to overtake the Giants. Sam Rice singled in two runs in that inning, and Bucky Harris and Goose Goslin each drove in runs as well. Tom Zachary allowed two earned runs in eight innings for the win.
Baltimore 7, Brooklyn 1: Andy Cooper (six innings) and Bullet Rogan (three innings) combined for a nine-hitter and the Elites got RBIs from six different hitters. Cristobal Torriente and Oscar Charleston each went 3-for-5 with a double, a run scored and an RBI.
