Brooklyn 11, Baltimore 4: The Robins blitzed Nip Winters for five runs in the second inning, with a triple from Hank De Berry and doubles from Jimmy Johnston and Andy High. DeBerry hit a two-run homer off Phil Cockrell in the third. Dutch Ruether went the distance for Brooklyn, allowing just two runs in the first eight innings.

Giants 7, Baltimore 6: Tubby Scales committed three errors leading to three unearned runs as the Elites dropped their second game of the day. Art Nehf held Baltimore to two earned runs in six innings.
