Brooklyn 9, NY Giants 3: Zack Wheat hit a three-run homer in the fourth to break the games open, and Tiny Osborne went eight innings in a spot start, allowed two earned runs on four hits. Andy High went 4-for-5 and scored three runs, and Wheat finished with four RBIs.
Brooklyn 5, Baltimore 4: Andy High singled home two runs in the bottom of the ninth to give the Robins the win. Bill Doak and Bullet Rogan dueled to a 2-2 deadlock through seven innings. The Robins scored a run in the bottom of the eighth for a 3-2 lead, only to see Tubby Scales and Cristobal Torriente hit back-to-back triples as Baltimore scored twice in the ninth for the lead. In the bottom of the ninth, the Robins got a pair of pinch-hitters on, and they moved up on a grounder before High's game-winning hit.
