Heinie Groh tied the game with a two-run single in the fifth, and the Giants scored six runs in the sixth on seven singles and a double. . Art Nehf went the distance for his first win.
Baltimore 10, Brooklyn 2: The Elites banged out 17 hits and drew five walks to overwhelm Burleigh Grimes and the Robins. Biz Mackey scored three runs, and Judy Johnson and Ben Taylor each drove in a pair. Taylor had four hits, while Johnson and Alejandro Oms each had three. Andy Cooper allowed two runs on eight hits in six innings for the win, and Bill Drake worked the final three for the save.
