NY Giants 9, Brooklyn 4: Frank Snyder homered, doubled and drove in five runs to power the Giants. Travis Jackson and Ross Youngs homered for the Giants for the second straight game. Mule Watson went five innings, allowing two unearned runs, for the win.
Baltimore 3, NY Yankees 1: John Beckwith hit a two-run homer in the fourth inning and Dave Brown and three relievers made it stand up. Brown allowed four hits in six innings for the win, and Tom Williams, Nip Winters and Bill Holland combined for three innings of two-hit ball.
