Baltimore 11, NY Giants 9: The Elites batted around in both the fourth and fifth innings to take a 10-1 lead, only to see the Giants plate six runs in the seventh. William Bell staggered to the win; he was charged with seven runs, all earned, in six-plus innings. Dick Lundy drove in three runs for Baltimore, and Bell, Tubby Scales and Biz Mackey each had a pair of RBIs.
Washington 6, NY Giants 5:
The Senators scored twice in the eighth and twice more in the ninth against a weary Giants bullpen to pull out the win. Roger Peckinpaugh singled home Muddy Ruel in the ninth for the go-ahead run. The Giants led 4-1 after six innings and 5-2 after seven and Highpockets Kelly drove in three runs and Frank Snyder two more.
