Washington 3, Baltimore 1: George Mogridge held the Elites to four hits in 8.1 innings, and Fred Marberry retired the two hitters he faced with two one in the ninth. Baltimore scored in the first on a John Beckwith triple but got just two other men in scoring position the rest of the way. The Senators tied it in the second on double by Joe Judge and a single from Muddy Ruel, and took the lead in the sixth on two singles, an error and a double from Sam Rice.

Washington 4, NY Yankees 3: The Senators scored two runs in the ninth off Sad Sam Jones for their second win of day, collecting singles from Roger Peckinpaugh, Lance Richbourg, Bucky Harris and Sam Rice. The Yankees had scored three unearned runs in the eighth to take the lead off Curly Ogden, who allowed four hits in 7.2 innings.
