Washington 8, NY Yankees 7 (10 innings): Bucky Harris drove in four runs, two with squeeze bunts, as the Senators overcame an early 4-0 deficit. Roger Peckinpaugh also pulled off a successful squeeze bunt. Lance Richbourg came off the bench to walk, single and triple, scoring two runs.
