NY Yankees 7, NY Giants 1: Waite Hoyt worked five scoreless innings of relief after Herb Pennock injured himself batting, and Aaron Ward drove in two runs on a triple and a homer. Wally Pipp also had two RBIs on a triple and double.

Baltimore 3, Washington 2: Ben Taylor hit a two-run homer in the fifth and four Baltimore pitchers combined to make the lead hold up. Cristobal Torriente hit a pair of triples for the Elites. Nip Winters went seven innings for the win, and John Donaldson, Bill Holland and Dave Brown combined for the final six outs.
