Baltimore 3, Washington 2: Ben Taylor hit a two-run homer in the fifth and four Baltimore pitchers combined to make the lead hold up. Cristobal Torriente hit a pair of triples for the Elites. Nip Winters went seven innings for the win, and John Donaldson, Bill Holland and Dave Brown combined for the final six outs.
