Brooklyn 14, NY Yankees 6: The Robins batted around in both seventh and eighth innings to rout the Yankees. Burleigh Grimes went all the way for Brooklyn, allowing 12 hits. He had two hits of his own and drove in three runs. Andy High also drove in three runs for the Robins. Harvey Hendrick pinch-hit a three-run homer for the Yankees in the sixth as they came back to tie the game at six.
Washington 8, Baltimore 4: The Senators chased Andy Cooper with four runs in the first inning and totaled 13 hits off four Elites hurlers. Muddy Ruel drove in three runs and scored one. Curly Ogden allowed four runs, two earned in seven innings for the win, and Allen Russell worked the final two frames.
